What is a Talent Link?

Who creates Talent Links — students or career services?
Career services. Students don't need to do anything beyond keeping their Prentus profile up to date. Advisors curate the candidate list based on a role, employer request, or pipeline opportunity.
Can employers contact students directly through a Talent Link?
Yes, with student consent. Each student controls whether their contact info is visible in shared Talent Links. Employers can also message students through the institution's branded portal if direct contact is restricted.
Can students opt in or out of being included?
Yes. Students set their own visibility preferences in their Prentus profile (e.g., "include me in employer outreach" or "only for roles in my preferred industry"). Career services teams can only include students who have opted in.
How is this different from a traditional job board?
A job board waits for students to apply. Talent Links flips the model: the institution actively surfaces qualified candidates to employer partners. Employers see only the right students for the role — not a flood of applications they have to filter.
What analytics do we see?
